Meeting the family of your boyfriend or girlfriend can always be a bit nerve-wracking. You want to make a good impression and you hope that they like you too, so you try and put on your best face and best foot forward. However, in "Paradise Lost," meeting the family is taken to a whole new level...

Benicio Del Toro stars as famed drug kingpin Pablo Escobar in the film, and it's not long before paranoia and mistrust swirls when he meets earnest Josh Hutcherson, who is romancing his niece. And though this first teaser trailer is only a half-minute long, it's pretty potent, and actually delivers something far more intense than we were expecting. Andrea Di Stefano is making his directorial debut with the picture and looks to have a sure hand on the material, and you should keep an eye out for the talented Brady Corbet in a supporting role.

No U.S. date yet, but we'd keep an eye on the fall festival circuit. Watch below. [Collider]
