While we live in a culture where numerous clips, photos and more land online weeks and months before a movie hits theaters, sometimes things are best experienced cold. And while you've likely already heard some rumblings about the performance of "Please Mr. Kennedy" in "Inside Llewyn Davis," if you can wait, we urge you to watch it first in the actual movie.

But if you are curious, it's there for you below. Basically, the sequence finds Llewyn Davis (Oscar Isaac) landing a paying gig as a musician on a session for some tunes being cut by his friend/rival Jim (Justin Timberlake), whose more accessible songs are exactly the type of stuff Llewyn hates. And "Please Mr. Kennedy," a rather crude novelty tune, finds Llewyn reluctantly lowering his professional standards while Al Cody (Adam Driver) steals the entire thing with his backup vocals. Again, this probably works better in the framework of the movie, especially once you get to know Llewyn, so fair warning.

"Inside Llewyn Davis" opens on December 6th in limited release. Check out the clip along with a lengthy featurette about the music in the film.
