While the initial, "Inception"-y trailer for "Möbius" was pretty exciting, it was a disappointment to find out that the resulting thriller ultimately wasn't so hot. Our review out of the Tribeca Flim Festival last year called the picture "story-heavy" and "nakedly superficial," which is a bummer considering the international ensemble pulled together for this one. But if you want to see for yourself, the movie is coming to home video and a new trailer is here to set it all up for you.
Starring Jean Dujardin, Cécile De France, Tim Roth and Émilie Dequenne, writer/director Éric Rochant's film follows a Russian operative trying to crack an international money laundering scheme. But that's just the start of double crosses, intrigue, sex and beautiful people doing bad, beautiful things. Certainly, this looks slicker than you might expect, and again, the talent is hard to deny. So perhaps this is one that's worth a curiosity watch if anything.
"Möbius" arrives on Digital HD April 1st and on Blu-ray/DVD/VOD/Pay-Per-View on April 15th. Watch below.
