10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesOkay, well technically speaking, Fincher executive produced the spot with his collaborator Tim Miller directing. Miller is a respected FX wiz who worked on a tiny indie called "Avatar, and served as Creative Director on the title sequence for "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo." Nerds also know that he was tasked with directing the "Deadpool" movie back when that seemed like a viable project, but it seems to have fallen away at the moment. But does he prove he's got the feature film chops with this spot?
Sort of. For better or worse, it serves the purpose of selling the game so it's fairly generic in that regard and visuals aren't that exciting -- the deep-inked blacks of the comparitively minimal 'Dragon Tattoo' sequence is far more memorable. But we suppose game enthusiast types will dig it. And even if not, they'll still be buying it when the button masher streets on November 6th. Watch below [The Film Stage]

Terrible. Aren't trailers supposed to get you excited? Only thing I feel is boredom...
I hope DF did not approve this himself...
Someone could use some Ridley Scott advice...

Tim Miller's a cool dude, but this was pretty lame. Is he directing the possible Goon feature that's getting Kickstarted? The Dragon Tattoo titles are pretty classic, too.
