With "Man Of Steel" flying onto home video riding an orchestrated wave of hype capped by a Kevin Smith-hosted fan event this past weekend, that served up a few minor morsels about the sequel, it's easy to forget the movie wasn't as warmly embraced as Christopher Nolan's Batman movies. There was no shortage of elements that got fans talking including: the decision to have Superman kill General Zod; the ruthless carnage; the forgettable and unnecessary 3D to even how the film can continue in sequels. And there's even more as noted in our The Best & Worst Of "Man of Steel." Naturally we urge to read all those things, and then top it off by watching the below.

Screen Junkies have dropped another honest trailer, this time getting into Zack Snyder's superhero effort and as always, few things are left untouched. From the film's rather the over-the-top violence, to the distracting product placement to the grim tone, it's playful look at the film's flaws or quibbles, some of which are of course exaggerated. Nevertheless, it's worth a click, so check it out.

Guess we have Red Letter Media to think for inspiring these viral videos where instead of creating your own original material, you can make one acting smug and ripping on someone else's work by regurgitating the same jokes previously made a few months ago. Maybe a studio will buy the rights to one of these someday.

Got tired of Red Letter Media or Half in the Bag when they did their umpteenth "George Lucas Sucks" rant. (They can't really stop because Lucas pretty much put them on their map and I'm sure they'll find a way to blame him for Episode 7)

Glad they fit in the casual racism of that Perry Black joke.
