Watch: Honest Trailer For Too Nerdy For Mainstream America 'Green Lantern'

It's only been three years since "Green Lantern" stunk up multiplexes around the world, and so quickly has everyone tried to banish it from memory that it actually feels like it's been much, much longer. Even Warner Bros. themselves are moving forward with their "Justice League" plans, but it may pay to remember just how wrong they got their last stab at a non-Christopher Nolan affiliated DC property.

The folks at Screen Junkies have once again gone back in time, this time giving "Green Lantern" the Honest Trailer treatment, and the voiceover summary that the movie was "too nerdy for mainstream American and too mainstream for nerdy America" is pretty spot on. So too is the posit that the film takes a potentially inventive character into the most banal, unimaginative and head-scratching places with "Green Lantern" not at all help by poor CGI, a weird plot and villain(s), and a general inability to make it interesting. Relive the horror below.
