Fox Searchlight has had a pretty good last few days. On Thursday, "12 Years A Slave" walked away with 9 Oscar nominations, and then over the weekend, it tied "Gravity" for Best Picture at the PGAs, in a historic win that has our own in-house prognosticator considering what it means for the Academy Award race.

Certainly, it's going to be a very busy few weeks for Fox Searchlight's marketing arm and they aren't wasting a moment, issuing a new TV spot featuring Martin Luther King's historic "I have a dream" speech, all just in time for the weekend honoring MLK. It's a savvy play that emphasizes the importance of the subject matter in Steve McQueen's film while also honoring the late Civil Rights leader, without coming off crass or manipulative.
