Watch: 'Jack Reacher' Beats Up 5 Guys In New Clip Plus More Footage In Japanese Trailer

The question around "Jack Reacher" still remains to be whether or not Tom Cruise can pull off the hulking title character of Lee Child's best-selling book series. But if this new clip is anything to go by, what the actor may lack in physical size, he more than makes up for in ferocity.

Already alluded to in the trailers, this new scene pits Reacher against five guys, and they'll soon come to realize that quantity is no problem for the precise and deadly maneuvers of the ex-military investigator. Director Christopher McQuarrie shoots this entire sequence impressively, forgoing the usual shaky cam, quick-cut aesthetic of so many action movies, allowing the audience to feel the movement and every punch thrown and landed in the battle. After that, check out the latest Japanese trailer for the film which offers up a bit more footage, including the sniper attack that sets everything in motion and draws Reacher in.
