Watch: James Franco, Zach Galifiankis & Ed Norton Feature In 'Spring Breakers'-Style New Lonely Island Video

While David Bowie's new music video represents the very heights of the format, with ambitious visuals, important themes and high production values, then the latest from The Lonely Island is the counterweight to that. Goofy, hilarious, and probably shot in about two days, it might not boast the biggest ideas or highest aspirations, but it's still pretty rad.

Lonely Island Spring Break Anthem

While David Bowie's new music video represents the very heights of the format, with ambitious visuals, important themes and high production values, then the latest from The Lonely Island is the counterweight to that. Goofy, hilarious, and probably shot in about two days, it might not boast the biggest ideas or highest aspirations, but it's still pretty rad.

Starting off as another episode of "Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis" with James Franco in the hot seat (because James Franco is in everything), it then cuts to musical guests The Lonely Island who drop their "Spring Break Anthem." And while it's expectedly immature and ridiculous, the concept takes the idea of extreme bro-ing out with your bros to the logical extension that Spring Break mayhem will end with dudes getting married. It's kind of genius, and also pretty awesome that Ed Norton pops up randomly in this. Anyway, give it a look below. The Lonely Island's Wack Album drops on June 11th.
