We're The Millers, crop

In the works for years, with numerous directors and stars coming and going through various incarnations, "We're The Millers" finally firmed up a cast, got in front of cameras and has been made with Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston leading an ensemble cast that includes Emma Roberts, Nick Offerman, Ed Helms, Kathryn Hahn and many more. The result? Well, another comedy where an excuse is made for Aniston to strut around in her underwear...

Spanning nearly three minutes, this red band trailer wastes no time in giving up the goods in what we hope aren't the funniest moments in the movie because...they aren't that funny... Penned by "Wedding Crashers" writers Bob Fisher and Steve Faber, the story follows a loser who is forced (for some reason) to drive back a shitload of weed from Mexico. In order to dupe the authorities, he puts together a fake family and herds them into an RV to pick up the goods. It's a decent premise, but this all seems kinda broad and familiar, though we will say Sudeikis' Bane impression and the "Waterfalls" karaoke made us laugh (even if "The Other Guys" crushed TLC-referencing comedy for all time).

"We're The Millers" heads for the border on August 9th.

Jesus people, lighten up! They're not trying to make this movie into Citizen fucking Kane or something, it's just a comedy. That was a kind of funny trailer, let's be honest.

Seriously??? I can't believe those actors are receiving a pay check for that silly mess and what's wrong with Jen's face?? Is that her real nose??

This is such a dreadful trailer, yet The Playlist gives it way more optimism than it deserves due to the 'Wedding Crashers' connection. What is wrong with you people? Are you being blackmailed or something? Does someone have video evidence of the team making a virgin sacrifice to Michael Fassbender?

The Playlist mention it a bit and sometimes rationalize awful-looking films with optimistic references to the film's 'Wedding Crashers' connection.

Why the fuck do you care if people think "Wedding Crashers" is funny?

People are talking that the Star Trek scene is misogynist. What about the Jennifer Aniston scene in this trailer?! Completely ridiculous!
