10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesTrent Reznor's side gig, How To Destroy Angels, has dropped a new video for "Ice Age" from their An Omen EP, directed by none other than Hillcoat himself. The helmer got his start in the music video world, and dips his toes back in every now and again, directing spots in recent years for his buddy Nick Cave's Grinderman, Muse, AFI and UNKLE. This spot is appropriately chilly, with most of the band kept in the background except for lead singer Mariqueen Maandig, who spends most of the video looking out a window. And yeah, in case you forgot, How To Destroy Angels also contributed the cover of Bryan Ferry's "Is Your Love Strong Enough?" to David Fincher's "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" soundtrack.
Give it the video a whirl below and in case you missed it, here's our interview with John Hillcoat as he discusses his inspirations for "Lawless". [HitFix]
