Watch: 'Law & Order' And 'Game Of Thrones' Opening Credits Mashup Brings The Drama

While people lament the loss of many shows — "Community," "Party Down," "The Wire," whatever — one that I still miss the most is "Law & Order." No, I'm not talking about the spinoffs, but the original, real deal show that made New York City everyone's favorite weekly crime stop. Where the one liners were as old and crusty as the bodies were fresh. Anyway, here's a way to remember those simpler ties. Kind of.

Thanks to the interwebs, someone has put together a mashup of the opening credits of "Law & Order" and "Game Of Thrones" and of course, it's pretty fun stuff. Oh hey, idea! How about a new "Law & Order" series set in Westeros? Yeah, I would totally watch that. Just make sure you get Chris Noth (RIP Jerry Orbach) — I'm sure he'd be just as effective in old timey garb. Maybe not. Anyway, watch below and do your own DUN DUN for the show that once was. [Gothamist]
