In the age of streaming services saving cable shows, "The Killing" has had nine lives. Canceled by AMC after the second season, revived for season three, only to be canceled again, Netflix swooped in and brought back the show for one final run around the block. And as you'd probably guess, it's going to be moody as hell.
The first trailer for season four is here, and it's promising to let "The Killing" go out on a note of serious intensity. The new run of episodes will pick up right where season three ended, as detectives Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) deal with the repercussions of their actions, while investigating the murder of a family, whose only surviving member is a son who has been shot in the head.
