10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesBased on the novel by Doris Lessing and adapted by Christopher Hampton ("A Dangerous Method," "Atonement") the film centers on two best friends -- and moms -- whose world gets somewhat turned upside down when they start sleeping with each other's sons. It seems like the kind of problem that could only happen to beautiful people, living in a beautiful place with nothing but time and opportunity on their hands, but this new international trailer does show there is a bit more weight to the premise. Yet, it also just seems kind of salacious just for the sake of it.
Playing Sundance last month, response was muted at best, but you can judge for yourself when it opens in theaters later this summer. [Vlicious!]

Why people here never talk about the material source of this film and its French female director.

There are some simple reasons for taking these roles - full of challenges and complication. Only "actresses" can pull off these roles.
i feel so sorry for those fan-boy of razzie award -nominated eye-candies & dummies or over-hyped "celebrities", they just got no taste and what can they do is trolling and trolling =)

This is some crazy shit! lol. No but seriously this is quite a diff "love story".... I completely agree with the Playlist .... ". It seems like the kind of problem that could only happen to beautiful people, living in a beautiful place with nothing but time and opportunity on their hands...."
I dunno about this one so we'll see I guess, but looks far fetched & quirky, not sure why either actress took such a role, seems like TV fodder....

So first it was "The Grandmothers", than it was "Two Mothers", now it's "Perfect mothers"... next week it will be re-titled "Sexy mothers" and it will finally make sense.
PS : Love Naomi's shameless promotion : "it's IMPOSSIBLE" !
