This summer, where do you want to go? A planet ruled by apes or a planet overrun by aliens? The good news is that you don't have to choose with both "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" and "Edge Of Tomorrow" serving up two different versions of the future, and in case you forgot what's coming, fresh trailers are here for both.
First up is another look at Matt Reeves' highly anticipated sequel, with a Japanese trailer serving up a bit more ape action and a few more beats of footage. This new one fast-forwards the timeline, and finds humanity hanging on after a simian virus wipes out a bulk of the population, and as you might surmise, a showdown with their evolutionary brothers is inevitable.
Meanwhile, the reviews are here for "Edge Of Tomorrow" and while our team was split, it looks like if you dig Tom Cruise and sci-fi action this will fit the bill. Doug Liman gets behind the camera for this one that follows a man who dies over and over again trying to figure out how stop an invading horde of creatures. This final trailer is mostly stuff you've seen before, but a good taste of what's to come.
"Edge Of Tomorrow" arrives on June 7th with 'Apes' coming on July 11th.
