He's rude, crude, nasty, verbose and totally fucking hilarious. It's "Dom Hemingway," the latest creation from writer/director Richard Shephard and it's the kind of dynamite, larger than life character that actors dream of. And Jude Law has a ball with it.
A brand new red band trailer has dropped for the picture, and it's two minutes confirming that the other 90-minutes will be just as good. Jude Law leads the pic as Dom, recently released from jail after doing a stint on behalf of his boss (Demian Bichir), who looks to get paid for keeping his mouth shut but winds up in a world of trouble. And oh yeah, he's trying to reconcile with his daughter (Emilia Clarke) too, all while his long-time pal (Richard E. Grant) tries to keep him somewhat in control. It's rollicking stuff and we wrote out of TIFF, it's "a big piece of raunchy entertainment, that goes down like a night of whiskey and beer."
"Dom Hemingway" is now playing in the U.K., and opens in the U.S. on April 4, 2014.
