With winter's firm grip now being felt, particularly on the East Coast (hope everyone is safe and warm out there), there is no better season for settling in with a good, dark yarn. In just a few weeks, you'll get just that with the kickoff of HBO's highly anticipated "True Detective." And a brand new peek at the season and a look behind-the-scenes are here to get you prepared.
A new trailer for the show has dropped featuring from fresh footage and further intrigue about the case that spans over a decade, and changes the lives of two detectives—the loner Matthew McConaughey and the seemingly rulebook tossing Woody Harrelson. In the 12-minute featurette featuring the director, cast and more, the show is said to take "the form of a manhunt, so it's more of a thriller than any kind of whodunit" and presents a complete background for the tale along with snippets of new material.
"True Detective" premieres on Sunday, January 12th at 9 PM. Watch below.
