Barack Obama might be entering the White House, but for folks in New Orleans, Louisiana, it's thirty eight months after Hurricane Katrina and there's much to be done. David Simon's chronicle of the city in "Treme" comes to an end with the fourth and final season and today comes the first look at what fans who have stuck by the show in store.

As always we're guided by Antoine Batiste (Wendell Pierce) who struggles to hold his music class together, while cop Terry Colson (David Morse) has a growing pile of bodies to deal with, all as Davis McAlary (Steve Zahn) continues to rail against the man. It looks like another season bringing together all the unique flavors of New Orleans, in the kind of multithreaded drama Simon and co. excel at. But enjoy it while you can as HBO has only commissioned five final episodes.

Watch below and tune in on December 1st.

always a sad day when a quality adult drama nears its end, especially one as top-notch as Treme. at least we get these last five episodes. can't wait for more news on Simon's 70's NY cop drama.
