It's going to be a big 2013 for Mark Wahlberg, with at least three movies on the way, and possibly four (depending on where Peter Berg's "Lone Survivor" lands). But before he pumps iron in Michael Bay's "Pain & Gain," or gets set up by the mob with Denzel Washington in "2 Guns," Wahlberg will starting off the year in the grimy "Broken City."

It's going to be a big 2013 for Mark Wahlberg, with at least three movies on the way, perhaps even four (depending on where Peter Berg's "Lone Survivor" lands). Before he pumps iron in Michael Bay's "Pain & Gain," or gets set up by the mob with Denzel Washington in "2 Guns," Wahlberg will starting the year off with the grimy-looking "Broken City."

Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones co-star in the thriller that follows an ex-cop tasked by the mayor of New York City (Crowe) to look into his wife's(Zeta-Jones) infidelity, who then uncovers something far more sinister. Now, he needs to get untangled from the situation, especially with the mayor holding Wahlberg's past over his head. A new trailer has landed and while the movie looks suitably pulpy, we can't tell if it's made-for-TV pulpy or has something bigger simmering underneath the setup. But with a cast that includes Kyle Chandler, Barry Pepper, Jeffrey Wright and James Ransone, we'll be watching this either way.

See for yourself below and check out some new stills as well. [FilmTV]
