Zero Dark Thirty A Good Day To Die Hard

Santa may have already left the building, but that doesn't mean marketing or advertising stops, as an awards contender and blockbuster hopeful hit the small screen to get your hard earned cash. So let's dive in.

First up....listen, we know. It seems people can't shut up at this point about "Zero Dark Thirty," the most controversial movie of the year that most people haven't seen yet. Both Kathryn Bigelow and Jessica Chastain have weighed in on the politics around the movie, and even Rupert Murdoch has been flapping his social media gums, but enough talk, let's see some stuff from the movie. A new U.K. TV spot has dropped, with a medley of footage new and old, playing up the based-in-fact account of the tale. No matter how you slice it, this is one thriller that will get your pulse pounding, no matter which side of the argument you're on. "Zero Dark Thirty" goes wide on January 11th.

Meanwhile, Bruce Willis returns...again...for another round as John McClane in "A Good Day To Die Hard." Jai Courtney plays his son in the movie that something something something Russia explosions! This pair of TV spots lets you know that it will be loud and wisecrack filled, with some eye candy throw in just because. Take a date on Valentine's Day. Watch below.

Well over a year after Bin Laden’s death and over 10 years since 9/11, American citizens are still blindly allowing their civil liberties to be taken away one piece of legislation at a time in the naming of fighting terrorism. Even our own citizens can be detained and tortured without trial. What difference did it make killing Bin Laden and Hussein if nothing has changed? You can read much more about living in this Orwellian society of fear and see my visual response to these measures on my artist’s blog at

They really screwed up going with the Spartacus dude instead of Aaron Paul. Then again, maybe he was the one that passed. If so, smart move on his part, but this movie would be automatically 10 times better with Paul in it. I would happily pay $10.00 and sit through a movie probably even worse than Live Free or Die Hard just to hear Jesse Pinkman say: "Yippee Ki-yay. BITCH."

I was really bummed when I heard Aaron Paul wasn't going to be in this movie. I think they wanted someone bigger and more muscular but somwhere along the line they forgot John McClane's appeal was his attitude and humor, and Paul has that in spades. Not to mention he is sexy as hell.
