For those of you dreaming about more Channing Tatum in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," guess again. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently revealed that despite all the rumors that the movie was undergoing reshoots to beef up the role of the suddenly hot star of "The Vow," "21 Jump Street" and "Magic Mike," that simply isn't the case. So what are we getting? Ninjas. Lots and lots of ninjas.
A new spot for the movie has dropped, and nearly half of it focuses on the those flying ninja dudes on the side of the mountain as they swirl and fight and clash swords and basically live out the dreams of the twelve year-old inside all of us. The second half eventually kicks in, offering up lots of explosions, some time with franchise additions Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis and then a reminder that four minutes of the newly 3D-ized movie will screen in front of "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters." It seems people have a reason (sort of) to buy tickets for that thing.
"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" sells toys on March 29, 2013. Watch below.
