When Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s “Here Comes the Devil” made its debut at last year’s Fantastic Fest, it was essentially the toast of the town. The Mexican horror film has been described as “weird,” “insane” and “odd,” with intense sexual situations and some very gory moments. In other words, it’s the perfect film for any horror fan to feast upon. And now, after more than a year since its festival debut, it’s finally making its way to theaters and VOD.

The very NSFW red band trailer was released the other day and you may want to keep your kids away from the computer screen. The premise for “Here Comes the Devil” is simple enough: two kids get permission from their parents to go up hiking over a mountainside. When they return, they are not as cute and cuddly as they used to be and, worst of all, they may have had an encounter with the devil. What follows is an abundance of screaming, gore, and quite a bit of sex added in for good measure. Be sure to catch the trailer below and if you like what you see, you can catch “Here Comes the Devil” when it comes to theaters and VOD on December 13th. [Bloody Disgusting]
