We hope you like the world of Spider-Man that Sony is building, because you're going to be getting a lot of it over the next five to ten years. With the universe plotted out already to 2018 with the release of "The Amazing Spider-Man 4" (which Andrew Garfield claims to have no part of, LOL, whatever), Sony upped the ante by adding two more to the slate: the long developing "Venom" movie that will now be directed by Alex Kurtzman, and "The Sinister Six," being written by Drew Goddard. With all this planning, you might have forgotten "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is coming next year.

Well, it is, and a new German territory trailer is here with some bits and bobs of new footage. And while the "comedy" portions of this series aren't the first thing we'd point people too, it seems to be a thing that's marketable abroad, as this trailer opens with a jokey scene between Peter and Aunt May, who he really doesn't want to come into his room. Maybe in one of these sequels, Peter will get his own apartment.

Anyway, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" arrives on May 2, 2014. [Flicks And Bits]
