10 Essential Cinematic Antiheroes"[Fans] can expect a lot of horror. It’s a pretty violent film. There’s lots and lots of blood. It’s a beautiful movie—visually, actually, it looks so fucking cool," Jane Levy told Collider. And she adds that the shoot itself was no picnic: "It’s the hardest thing I probably will ever do. It was horrible. I was totally miserable. There was so much blood that I got a terrible ear infection because it all got stuck in my ear. A doctor there said it was the worst ear infection he’d ever seen in his life. I couldn’t hear for three weeks. My balance was all off. My head hurt. I was so tired. I got buried alive. I had tubes stuck in all these orifices so I could projectile vomit, so I could projectile bleed. Ninety percent of the movie I’m soaking wet. It was the middle of winter. We shot outside. It was so, so, so tough."
But that dedication to craft and gooey secretions is certainly seen here in a spot that doesn't hold back on the blood and caps things off with a good old fashioned tongue slicing. It looks like the movie has been brought into the 21st century kicking, screaming and with an ambition to freak you the fuck out.
"Evil Dead" opens on April 12th.

What a shock! It looks like a waste of time.

This could work... getting the same vibe I got when I saw the Dawn of the Dead remake trailer (jesus, nearly a decade ago?!).
