Better Living Through Chemistry

While many studios like to use the Sundance Film Festival to boost their star-driven indie pics, it's a bit curious that "Better Living Through Chemistry" didn't make an appearance. After all, the cast is red carpet ready with Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, Michelle Monaghan, Ray Liotta and Jane Fonda among them, so what else could it be? Well, perhaps this trailer is a clue...

Straining to be wacky and wild, it sorta feels like we've seen this movie already, even if the premise seems a bit fresh. The story follows a small town pharmacist who kicks back and has an affair with a very wealthy and sexy client and lots of things happen. It seems like Olivia Wilde has done this part a few times before, while we hope the immensely talented Ben Schwartz stops playing Jean-Ralphio all the time. And overall, the endeavor feels like it just keeps missing the mark.

But hey, we could be totally wrong, and we always love Sam Rockwell, so see for yourself on March 14th. Trailer and poster below.
