"Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" is coming and the filmmakers really want you to know how hard they worked on it. It wasn't long ago we got a featurette looking at the training the actors went through to act like primates, and now another peek behind the curtain via EW reveals the complex work that went into creating the apes.

Weta Digital worked on the film, helping to transition the mo-capped actors into fully fledged finished creatures for the Matt Reeves-directed movie. And it is pretty cool to see how much detail the team manages to capture, and also impressive are the actors themselves, who really commit to, well, going ape.

Watch below, along with a new TV spot. "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" opens on July 11th.
