10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesWritten by Matt Damon and John Krasinski, based on an idea by Dave Eggers and directed by Gus Van Sant (man, you can't argue with those bonafides), the picture tells the story of a salesman who comes to a rural town to buy the drilling rights to their land, but runs up against an environmentalist and local schoolteacher who don't approve. Stacked with great supporting players including Frances McDormand, Rosemarie Dewitt, Hal Holbrook, Scoot McNairy and more, this one isn't lacking any talent.
Does the issues driven drama work? Well, you can read our review here or see it for yourself when it opens on December 28th. Watch below. [via The Film Stage]
