When he's not helping Seth Rogen piss off the government of North Korea, James Franco is busy with one of his many on-the-go projects, and one that's in the can is his adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's "Child Of God." And after doing some festival business last year, it's finally ready to be seen and a new trailer is here.

Scott Haze is tasked with taking on the tricky role of lead character Lester Ballard, a man who is more animal, living outside regular society, and getting engaged with all kinds of nasty business. And like Lester, the movie itself appears to be not that much fun either, with our review out of Venice declaring that the take on McCarthy's material here is "unimaginative."

"Child Of God" will open later this year via Well Go Entertainment. Watch below.
