Looks like somebody has a case of the Mondays. The cherished children's book "Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst is headed to the big screen, and it looks like it will live up to the title in more ways than one.

Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner lead this story that centers on the Brand family, who seem to have it all ... except for Alexander, who can't seem to get anything right. But that all changes one fateful day, when the Brand family find themselves experiencing everything that happens to Alexander on a daily basis and suddenly there are life lessons and Of Monsters And Men songs playing and everyone is bonding. And there is also a "Wreck-It Ralph" reference because ... Disney? That was kinda weird.

"Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" opens on October 10th.

I would like to see a movie for once which leaves something out of the trailer

I love how Jennifer Garner is the only 40 something woman that studio films seem to be casting right now. Remember how once there was only Kirsten Dunst? (rhyme intended) For all of the films it produces, Hollywood can only seem to handle so many women at one time.

Garner is in 3 films this year (one is filming and tentatively scheduled for this year, but it'll likely get bumped to spring) and was in 1 last year, 2 the year before that, and 1 before that, so no... it's just you're perception.
