What we know so far about David Fincher's "Gone Girl": it's got an explicit sex scene with Neil Patrick Harris, author Gillian Flynn helped come up with a different ending than the one in her best-selling book, and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are back in the Fincher fold, scoring their third straight film for the director. Okay, but how has it turned out? You'll get your first taste on Monday.
Until then, a teaser for the first trailer has dropped online and far be it from us to judge a movie based on 20 seconds of footage, but it has a lot of Ben Affleck and the aesthetic is very Fincher (framing, color). And of course, presented garishly by "Entertainment Tonight," it's to decipher the tone at all, so we'll just have to patient over the weekend until we see the full deal. But until then, here you go. "Gone Girl" arrives on October 3rd.
