So, hot mess or career comeback? Well, it's a Lifetime movie so, if it's watchable that will be more than enough, but given that Lindsay Lohan seems to be operating a bi-weekly arrest rate, she's hoping that this one turns out be a surprise success because there's only so many "Scary Movie" appearances you can do.

The first teaser trailer for "Liz & Dick" has dropped and there is certainly a lot of emotion flying around. The movie tracks the contentious relationship between Elizabeth Taylor (Lohan) and Richard Burton (Grant Bowler), tracking their ups and downs with all the production value a made-for-TV movie can do. But mostly, this brief ad is here to remind you that Lohan is in it, and well, she's actually not bad. But the tabloid/TMZ style cutting isn't doing anybody any favors.

Did she even attempt to do the voice? Maybe Lindsay had us all fooled. Was she ever that good an actress?
