Ever since it premiered at Sundance, we've been openly sharing our love for "Frank" and that's because it's one of the most unique comedies of the year and, particularly if you're a music fan or musician, a picture that'll have a bit of extra resonance. But even if not, it's got a killer ensemble all doing top-notch work in a movie that nails its big ambitions.

Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Scoot McNairy lead the film from Lenny Abrahamson, and it tells the story of a wannabe rocker, who manages to get recruited into an oddball band, and retreats with them to a cabin to record an album. If that wasn't pressure enough, the frontman, the titular Frank, wears a papier maché mask over his head. Weird? Yes. Funny? Definitely. Indeed, it's one of The Best Films Of 2014 So Far, and in our review out of Sundance we called it "an off-the-wall and terrific paean to the misfits and freaks of the world, their dreams, visions and togetherness."

"Frank" opens on August 15th. Watch the trailer at Apple, along with new pics and a poster. Or watch the UK trailer below, it's the same thing.
