Watch: “The 50 Greatest Vaginas of the 20th Century” Plus Gag Reel And Other Unrated Clips From ‘Anchorman 2’

If you thought the long awaited follow-up to “Anchorman” played it too close to the chest, then the upcoming “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues The Unrated Cut” might be for you. The sequel felt too long and heavily relied on jokes from the original. But by the looks of these clips, a lot of original humor didn’t make it past the editing room.

Anchorman 2

If you thought the long awaited follow-up to “Anchorman” played it too close to the chest, then the upcoming “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues The Unrated Cut” might be for you. The sequel felt too long and heavily relied on jokes from the original. But by the looks of these clips, a lot of original humor didn’t make it past the editing room.

Slashfilm has the ‘Anchorman 2’ blooper reel. Note the scene where Ron talks about pleasuring himself to the image of Mrs. Buttersworth and Pompeii-like aftermath, because it’s fucking hilarious. I’m not entirely sure what is happening it this deleted scene from Movies.com, but Champ appears to be eating someone’s face, so that’s nice. Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly has director Adam McKay’s favorite deleted scene, one where Will Ferrell absolutely loses it over Paul Rudd’s special investigation of the 50 greatest vaginas of the 20th century—which he believes is “a series I believe could run for years.” Just like the ‘Anchorman’ movies.

If these clips whet your appetite, there’s 763 new jokes you didn’t see in the original theatrical run that you can check out on DVD/Blu-ray when it goes on sale April 1st.

This article is related to: Anchorman: The Legend Continues, Kristen Wiig, Christina Applegate, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell
