The Dark Knight, Tom Hardy

So we're a couple of months out from "The Dark Knight Rises" with the final trailer dropping recently, and it's unlikely there will be many more secrets or plot details spilled until then. So we'll have to wait patiently until we finally see the movie to get the full scope of what Christopher Nolan has prepared as his grand sendoff for the franchise.

But leave it to the internet to make the next two months a little more fun as somebody has cleverly cut together a new version of the third trailer using footage from "Batman: The Animated Series." It's actually pretty good, and sometimes eerily similar to what's in the WB/Nolan spot. And someone clearly took their time to cut it with most effective scenes, and even down to the "It's not a car" moment. It's pretty fun stuff, and quite well done, so give it a whirl below and then see the two trailers side by side for comparison sake after that. "The Dark Knight Rises" opens July 20th [I Watch Stuff]

They actually did this with the teaser trailer awhile back. Both are pretty damn cool.
