Have you started making your New Year's Eve plans? It's only 27 days away, as the clock keeps ticking down on 2012. Cahiers Du Cinema, Sight & Sound and John Waters have already dropped their top ten lists, the New York Film Critics Circle handed out the first batch of awards, and even though there are still movies to come, we can now sit back and wax nostalgic on the year in cinema.

Over on YouTube, Snoozing Tail has put together a supercut of the trailers for most of the major films released in 2012, proving a seven-minute window into 2012. It'll remind you about the movies that came out in January, which feels like forever ago, while refreshing the bigger blockbusters and critically acclaimed hits that will be making top ten lists now. It's fun stuff, so give it a spin below, and if you couldn't name all the movies that whipped past your eyes, you can consult the full list right here. [Vulture]

i love that they can take the greatest of the year and the crappiest of the year and still makes somethig so beautiful. It says that no matter what film can be breathtaking.

I love this quote from Cosmopolis '' Show me something I don't know''- this is essence of the cinema.
