From the team behind "Paranormal Activity," "Insidious" and "Sinister".......zzzz.........we know right? But we have admit, as much as this trailer is lots of LOUD NOISES, it did still manage to efficiently creep us out enough to get interested.

Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton team up in the low-budget Blumhouse Productions flick,"Dark Skies," and it really is effectively more chilling than it has a right to be. Directed by Scott Call Me Charles Now Stewart ("Legion," "Priest") the movie looks like "Invasion Of The Birds With Sinister Paranormal Body Sntachers Of The Third Kind," but we'll be damned if it still wasn't eeriely compelling. And then goddamn J.K. Simmons shows up and basically throws some major pwnage all over the damn place.

How to write a horror preview editorial for this site: "Yeah, we know A/B/C were (zzzz/meh/yawn/your own too-hip-for-horror netspeak here) but this new trailer for D looks like it might be interesting." Then in 4 to 8 months repeat, adding D to A/B/C and replacing previous D with E.

The more time that passes between watching Sinister, the more pissed off i get about having actually watched it.
