Will Jack Harper fare better than "Jack Reacher"? That's the question as Tom Cruise continues his post-'Ghost Protocol' resurgence with "Oblivion" this month, getting some help in the spectacle department from "Tron: Legacy" director Joseph Kosinski. And after a series of trailers, which have actually gotten more intriguing as they've arrived, four clips are here to help you decide whether or not to purchase a ticket.

The premise kicks off with a familiar concept, with Cruise playing Jack Harper, a drone repairman, and the last man on Earth. But everything changes when he rescues a woman who crash lands on the planet, and it seems everything he understood gets re-oriented, leading to explosions, as they usually do. The supporting cast is pretty solid with Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko and Andrea Riseborough on board, and in these four scenes we see Jack get attacked and interrogated, among quieter moments.

Are you ready to head into "Oblivion"? Find out on April 19th.
