10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesDirected by Allen Hughes and co-starring Catherine Zeta Jones, Jeffrey Wright, Kyle Chandler, Ambyr Childers and Griffin Dunne, the story follows an ex-cop thrown off the force after shooting a 16-year-old kid. Eight years later he's tasked by the mayor of New York City (Crowe) to look into his wife's infidelity (Zeta-Jones), but he uncovers something far more sinister. But the mayor holds his past over his head as he figures out how get untangled from the situation. On the one hand, the Kanye West-powered trailer suggests a pretty rote genre exercise, while the material could find something more layered beneath the surface. Where does it fall? Our guess it's the former, but hopefully elevated by what looks like some pretty solid turns (even if Wahlberg can do this kind of stuff in his sleep).
"Broken City" gets repaired on January 18, 2013.

He wasn't bad in The Fighter but other than that Wahlberg is such a bad actor, he pretty much has the same worried expression in the whole trailer.
