Penned by F. Scott Frazier and directed by Kaspar Barfoed (who?), production began on this movie way back in the fall of 2011 and it's no surprise it's been collecting a bit of dust since then. The thriller finds Cusack playing a disgraced black ops agent tasked with a dead-end job of protecting a code operator (Akerman) for an isolated covert CIA broadcast station. What isn't explained is why all the operations of the CIA's code dissemination rely on one woman. Or why a computer can't do her job. But whatever right? Anyway, soon things are exploding and then we're bored...
"The Numbers Station" will arrive later this spring. Watch below. [Collider]
