10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesBut wait! We do in fact have a clip from a Wong Kar-Wai movie! But not from "The Grandmaster." Instead, the director recently completed a short film funded by Chivas Regal which premiered at Cannes before hitting screens next month, entitled "Deja Vu," and a teaser for the short has arrived online courtesy of Twitch. Starring Chang Chen ("2046") and supermodel Du Juan, it's a love story set in the Umaid Bhawan Palace in India, and... well, it pretty much looks like a whiskey commercial to us, complete with close ups of amber liquid poured over ice.
Perhaps not what we were hoping for, but it looks typically lush, and damn if we don't want a glass of whiskey right now. Or maybe that's because we had three before lunch. Anyway, watch the clip below, and keep your eyes peeled for the full short some time in June, while "The Grandmaster" will hit theaters in Asia in December, before likely making it to our shores in 2013.

I'm ready for a lot more Wong Kar Wai's taste in cinema.
