As you watch the teaser trailer for the finale episode of "True Detective" over and over again searching for vital clues, here's something to lighten the mood in a really great way.

Someone (a genius) has remade the opening credits of "True Detective" in the style of "Law & Order" (the original series, not those lesser spinoffs) and it's awesome. Not only does it perfectly suit the Cary Fukunaga/Nic Pizzolatto series, it also makes us wonder why NBC canceled "Law & Order" in the first place. (Lenny Briscoe forever.) And whoever cut this together made a pretty choice selection of scenes from "True Detective" to use. All told, this rules and is pretty much perfect, so watch below.
