Watch: TV Spot For 'After Earth' Plus New Pics From M. Night Shyamalan's Sci-Fi Film

Ah, Earth Day. What was once a moment spent to consider the fate of our planet is now a crass marketing opportunity, and nobody knows that better than Fox. Just a couple years ago, they used the day to help push "Avatar" on home video...the first of a double-dip release, which we're pretty sure isn't so environmentally friendly. And this year, they're showing they care about the planet by reminding you about a Will Smith movie that's coming out.

A new TV spot has dropped for M. Night Shyamalan's "After Earth" and after a brief reference to Earth Day, it goes into full on blockbuster mode, promising another movie where the humans flee the planet. Only this time when someone crash lands, it isn't Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman they find, but a fully pissed off Mother Nature, who has evolved to kill us. We're not sure if there's a twist ending with this one, but frankly we're still putting our minds around accent Will Smith is attempting.

Show you care for the planet by buying a ticket or something on May 31st.
