A new, music-centered spot for the highly anticipated "Tron: Legacy" has landed, and what can we say other than it's pretty goddamned awesome.
The spot begins with a scene from the preview footage that has been shown to press and will most likely feature on Tron Night this Thursday, where Michael Sheen's Castor asks Daft Punk (making their cameo), to play something "electrifying." And it is. The track in question is "Derezzed," and unlike the mostly orchestral-based material we've heard thus far, this is pure blasting beats. Sounds pretty damn great. The footage in the trailer is largely comprised of footage we've seen before with a couple of new scenes thrown in for good measure, but yeah, this is still goosebump-raising stuff.
The film will hit theaters in 3D on December 17th, with the soundtrack arriving ten days before on December 7th. Turn your speakers up and watch the trailer after the jump.
