Making a major wave at the Sundance Film Festival earlier in the year and earning strong notices from our team at SXSW and IFFBoston, Evan Glodell's apocalyptic "Bellflower" now has a full-length trailer and it looks pretty damn great.
Starring Jessie Wiseman, Tyler Dawson, Rebekah Brandes and Vincent Grashaw, the film follows an eccentric pair of friends who spend their time preparing for the apocalypse by way of their souped up car, The Mighty Medusa. In the mix is a fledgling relationship as well, but as the story rolls on, the lines between reality and fantasy become blurred. It definitely looks like no other indie movie we've seen in a while and we're digging the gritty, grimy look and feel. Also, flames and fire are never a bad thing.
Oscilloscope Laboratories will release the film on August 5th. Smell the gasoline below. [Twitch]

Intriguing concept, but I have to say, Oscilloscope has the cheapest looking, ugly logo going.

This looks great. I'm so pissed that this flew under my radar during sxsw.
