So, the red band trailer for David Gordon Green's R-rated "The Sitter" hit yesterday and it was...underwhelming. Well, the cleaned up version has arrived so they can show it in front of non R-rated movies and guess what? It's underwhelming as well.
Playing pretty much beat-for-beat as its predecessor except with less Sam Rockwell (boo!), the F-bombs scrubbed clean, and a few alternate PG-13 scene and dialogue swaps, this version of "The Sitter" does offer up something new: a shart joke. Otherwise, it's the same filthy take on "Adventures In Babysitting" but without much of an edge. And we meant to say it yesterday, but that boob gag at the beginning? It was funnier the first time when we watched it in "Superbad."
Max Records, Ari Graynor, J.B. Smoove and Method Man round out the cast and film will hit theaters on December 9th. Check it out below.
