Remember way, way back in 2009 when Halle Berry signed on to make a shark attack movie called "Dark Tide"? No? Well, we didn't remember either but not only is it in the can, there is now a trailer (two years later which always spells the mark of a hit film, right?)
Our pals over at Shadow & Act have dug up what looks like a sales trailer for the movie (which will likely be yanked soon) and you can smell the stench of chlorine on this one. Starring Berry and her current main squeeze Olivier Martinez, the actress seems like she's angling to become the Hilary Swank of her generation. Or something. It's hard to imagine that this looks worse than "Shark Night 3D" but it does, with a lugubrious preview in which the plot about Berry's character taking a job blah blah blah SHARK ATTACK. But here's the thing, we can't remember when we were less afraid of going in the water. The entire trailer is most a bunch of stunt double's legs splashing around while above water, Berry wears a bikini. Directed by John Stockwell of "Cat Run" and "Turistas" fame, perhaps we were expecting too much. Maybe Berry should've been swimming for a new agent instead of starring in this.
No release date on this one, but dont' be surprised if winds up going straight-do-DVD. Check out the trailer below.

Is that Ralph "I had to beat them to death with their own shoes" Brown?
Yes. Yes it is. Thank you IMDB.
God it looks terrible.

This proves how much how much Hollyweird despises actresses of color. Halle deserves better options.

Poor Halle.

Don't see why they needed a Wolfman-like sky for the poster. Or is it a wereshark.
OT but just read David O. Russell's happy, metaphor laden responses. Lively is a lively wire, Jolie is a loaded weapon? http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2011/06/david_o_russell_blake_lively.html
