A couple of clips for some movies coming your way very soon, so let's get crackin'.
First up, Yahoo! has unveiled the first clip from Jon Favreau's "Cowboys & Aliens" and it shows the sci-fi/western mash-up is going to be growling good time. The clip, which cleverly hides the alien invades, shows Harrison Ford growling at Daniel Craig who growls right back and the duo exchange blows. What is this? "Gran Torino 2"? But kidding aside, the clips looks great, the tone is pretty spot on, taking the genre elements seriously while still leaving plenty of room for sly humor. The film co-stars Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Olivia Wilde, Noah Ringer, Walton Goggins, Keith Carradine and Ana de la Reguera and will be making a grand premiere at Comic-Con in a couple of weeks before hitting theaters on July 29th. Bring you own spurs.
Meanwhile, the folks over at Shadow And Act have dug up a French-dubbed clip from Zoe Saldana's forthcoming Luc Besson-produced, Olivier Megaton-directed "Colombiana." But who is watching this movie for the dialogue? There's not much of it anyway, and the sweaty, explosive clip shows Saldana making a getaway from her apartment from a SWAT team thanks to an elevator shaft and on-her-feet thinking. And all this while wearing not much more than a tank top and underwear. "Colombiana" hits on September 2nd. Check out both clips below.
