A new TV spot has landed for "Green Lantern" and it's pretty much a full length trailer all it's own.

Running a minute and a half, the spot once again focuses heavily on the origin story of the tale and Ryan Reynolds as both an astonished and somewhat cynical Hal Jordan and an ass kicking Green Lantern. But what we'd like to see are more of the villains of the piece, particularly Hector Hammond (Peter Sarsgaard) though we do get a bit more of Parallax. Overall, it's pretty much cut from the WonderCon footage but there are some glimpses here and there of new stuff so it's worth checking out. But in an already crowded comic book summer, it remains to be seen if mainstream audiences will buy into the pretty out there (even for a superhero) premise with alien worlds and magic green rings.

"Green Lantern" opens on June 17th with a new full length trailer arriving in front of "Thor." [via ComingSoon]

At it's best, this just looks silly.

But really, like the Hangover 2, this just looks shitty.

Like splatter in your pants-diarrhea shitty.

Has bomb written all over it.
