With the internet erupting over the weekend with the leaked/fake leaked red band trailer for "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" (guys, do you really think David Fincher wants the first look at this new film to be from a second hand video? Just saying...), Sony has bumped up the planned June 2nd bow for the green band version of the trailer with the spot landing online tonight.

It's more or less the same trailer you've already seen with less sideboob and blood, and a few more brief glimpses of scenes. Karen O still wails over the beats provided by Trent Renzor in their cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" and it still looks grim as hell. But this crystal clear version at least lets us have a more complete look at what Fincher is cooking up and as usual, his work behind the camera looks to be top shelf as expected.

Starring Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik, Stellan Skarsgård, Yorick van Wageningen, Bengt C.W. Carlsson, Mathilda von Essen and Goran Visnjic, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” opens on December 21st. Check out the clear, official trailer below.

Given that the quality of the red band shifts into a higher resolution a few seconds into the opening shot it's clear that it was leaked. smart idea

Unfortunately, this one seems to have even less scenes with the titular girl. And, its a generic 'Coming' now? I don't want to go in to 'studios stay away from female-centric movies' argument, but its still weird. I hope they relaese a HD version of the red-band.

i immediately felt sony leaked it. 1 million hits in about 1 day. worked perfectly.

I like how it just says, "Coming" at the end of the credits.
