With a newly stamped R-rating, and a fresh release date bump, excitement is building for the Derek Cianfrance drama "Blue Valentine."
A new clip for the emotionally fraught film has arrived, and it's a tender snippet, a flashback scene to early in the relationship chronicled in the film shortly after Dean (Ryan Gosling) meets Cindy (Michelle Williams) and talks to his co-workers about how he can't get her out of his mind. Note the excellent score by Grizzly Bear playing in the background.
We know we've been talking up this film a lot but it's simply one of the year's finest, featuring outstanding performances by two of the best young actors working today. "Blue Valentine" opens in limited release starting on December 29th and expands to more cities on January 7th. [Guardian]

Did the Weinstein Bros. give your website a lot of money to sell their crappy movie? It sure seems that way. Blue Valentine is an overrated movie with overrated actors. Watch it win No awards and make No money. When did your site Sell Out!
